Life of the Expats

The series follows employees and their families to offer a big picture of the life as an expat.

They are global nomads, well educated young people under 40 who were sent to foreign countries by their company. These people collect work permits from all over the world, living abroad for as long as two years. The series focuses on foreign professionals in Germany as well as German expats in other countries, who are inclined to grow accustomed to a new, foreign culture. We talk to sociologists, experts, employers, re-location managers and their families to offer an understanding of life as an expat.
