March 11 2011, 2:46 pm. One of the largest earthquakes in Japanese history hits the East of Japan.

The earthquake caused a gigantic tsunami that later triggered a power outage and three simultaneous meltdowns at the nuclear power station in Fukushima. Six years have passed since the earthquake that caused Japan's worst nuclear incident and details of the disastrous event are slowly coming to light. Through various investigations and exclusive interviews with more than 500 people who were involved in the accident, this docu-drama shows what actually happened at ground zero. For the first time, viewers will witness  the complete picture of the nuclear accident in Fukushima during those first 88 hours.

Eighty-eight hours later, on March 15th at 7 o’clock in the morning, a large amount of radioactive material was released from reactor No.2, resulting in a Level 7 nuclear accident; the highest class.
