Is the help from alternative practitioners really a good idea?

While conventional doctors in Germany have to study for years, including examinations before they are allowed to practice, prospective non-medical practitioners only need to pass an examination at the public health office. This does not diminish their popularity with patients. But criticism of their training is growing louder.
