Simply making one’s life better with a piece of land - Eight couples from Germany are taking on the challenge.

Over the course of a year, we follow the couples as they work toward a dream that will define their lives. They seek a closer bond with nature, with animals, and with each other, aiming to live more sustainably, take responsibility for the future, and contribute to climate protection. Leaving their former lives behind, they set out to become self-reliant or to build farms of their own. Every step demands commitment and resilience. They face unpredictable natural forces, financial strain, and moments of deep uncertainty - yet their journey is driven by passion, perseverance, and the desire for a more meaningful way of life.
