A Farm of Our Own

Simply making one’s life better with a piece of land - Eight couples from Germany are taking on the challenge.

We accompany the couples for one year and show the hurdles that they overcome on the way to their lifelong dream: Appreciating nature, people, and animals, living more sustainably, shaping the future, protecting the climate. They start new lives, become self-sufficient or set up farms. They do everything they can to make their dreams come true. They fight against the vagaries of nature, financial fears, and existential worries, but always with passion and striving for a better life.
