This documentary series gives evidence of the greatness of the European mountain region. Food from that area is of the highest quality, produced by people who consider “work“, “eating“ and “nature“ to be intertwined. All over Europe, long standing tradition and modern cooking are combined in the culinary cuisine of the mountains.

Heights of Delights gives an insight into the origin of regional recipes and into the specific life of those people who create those dishes. Whether the meals are simply cooked on a wood stove or in a high-tech kitchen – quality ingredients and culinary dedication make each meal a pleasure!

We will meet people who live in the mountains. This meeting will give us an insight into their kitchens, their lives, their regional culture, traditions and history beyond the cooking experience. The conscious dealing with nature and the appreciation of regionally cultivated goods brings up unique culinary specialties.
