The documentary accompanies the dance instructor to Bangkok. This is where the largest Thai dance tournament, the Royal Siam, is held. Dirk Bastert is on the sidelines as a judge, but also as a coach and trainer. His couple has a good chance of winning a title. Karen and Tay from Singapore are considered favourites in the competition. The pair has been training with their German coach for several years now and travels to Bangkok a few days before the tournament for Dirk Bastert to help them put the final polish on their routine. They gave up their jobs to follow their dream and now they dedicate themselves solely to the standard dance. A victory for his couple is important for the German dance teacher too. It would increase his market value in Asia.
